United States: President-elect Joe Biden will have to take on the burden of Trumps wall

Joe Biden- The elected president inherits a barrier still under construction on the border with Mexico and a restrictive migration policy that Donald Trump has managed to impose.

The president-elect will certainly tackle a great undertaking of rectification and deconstruction. Joe Biden will have to check and be worthy and certain, to say the least, debatable decisions chosen by his predecessor. On numerous occasions, he may be forced to submit. We ponder on the withdrawal of the Paris treaty or the acceptance of mining admissions in protected areas decided by Donald Trump.

Work is speeding up

United States - On the issue of the famous anti-migrant wall on the border with Mexico, Joe Biden was clear: There will not be a meter of wall more that will be built by my administration.

Anticipating the official arrival at the White House of the president-elect Biden, civil engineering companies under contract with the federal state are actively working to move the work forward. Their eagerness could not be more interested: each meter erected, it's a big handful of dollars more that fall.

The wall has already cost a lot. On the funding side, DHS (The Department of Homeland Security), United States, has already invested $ 4.5 billion. For the Ministry of Defence, which was involved, the bill amounts to 2.5 billion but, these are only estimates dating from September.
