Biden plans to reveal the first candidates for ministerial posts on Tuesday

Biden: The elected US President Joe Biden wants to present his "first" candidates for ministerial offices in his cabinet on Tuesday. This was announced by Biden's designated chief of staff Ronald Klain on Sunday in an interview with the television station ABC. When asked, he did not want to provide any information on which portfolios it would be. He also didn't want to reveal how many nominations Biden would announce. "We want people to watch," he said, looking at the announcement.

It can be assumed, however, that Biden will first announce the appointment of one or more of the more important departments. These incorporate the defence, foreign, finance, and homeland security administrations. Due to the recent corona pandemic, the selection for the Ministry of Health is also actively anticipated.

Democrat Biden was declared the winner of the November 3 presidential election by the US media, but Republican incumbent Donald Trump refuses to admit defeat. Biden is expected to be instated in as the resent US president on January 20th.

His candidates for ministerial posts have all yet to be approved by the Senate. The Republicans currently have a slim majority there. The majority ratios could change due to two runoff elections in the state of Georgia in early January.
